Paris artist Christophe Guinet (aka Monsieur Plant) has been obsessed with vegetation since an early age. Today, that passion for plants drives his art practice, which typically makes use of living materials like trees, grasses, flowers and seeds. In this work, dubbed “Natural Skateboarding,” he combines his other obsessions — skating and urban culture — to create a 32″ skate deck from a panel of tree bark. Board slides not recommended.
