    Here's an excellent, minimalist desk lamp we spotted over at Inhabitat. Created by Polish designer Magdalena Chojnacka, who operates under the Bongo Design moniker, the 360 Lamp merges an energy-efficient 10W LED bulb with an unfinished pine wood shade and an smart cantilevered stand that allows the light to rotate a full 360 degrees. The design is topped off with a textile-covered cord that delivers a nice pop of red, blue, or green. The 360 Lamp is available in both short and tall versions to suit different spaces and applications. Of course, designs this nice rarely come cheap. But if you're looking to step your desktop lighting game up a few notches, the 360 Lamp is a solid candidate.
