In Italian "stil novo" means "new style," which seems a befitting tag for a company that refashions old stuff into a variety of stylish objects for the home. Stil Novo Design's preferred source materials are discarded wine barrels collected around NorCal wine country. The Orbits Ceiling Lamp makes creative use of the metal hoops that wrap around the oak barrels. The steel bands are woven and welded together to create a rustic orb that would look good in any style of interior. Made to order.
