A safe, secure U-lock is a must-have accessory for every city cyclist. But U-locks across the board are heavy and cumbersome, which raises a persistent dilemma: How does one carry the damn thing? Montreal-based designer Jesse Herbert of Oopsmark solves the problem with the U-Lock Holster, a simple, aesthetically-pleasing solution for hauling your bike lock. Made by hand using veggie-tanned leather, the holster affixes neatly behind your saddle so it's completely out of the way. It can also be attached to a front basket or a rear pannier rack. However you do it, it's an easy, inexpensive way to deal with a daily biking problem.
