Italian design firm Pininfarina, creator of iconic cars for the likes of Ferrari and Alfa Romeo, approaches consumer product design with a similar commitment to innovation and style. The company's inkless Forever Cambiano pen is a case in point. Supremely elegant in a sleek aluminum and wood finish, the Forever Cambiano features a future-forward writing tip that lasts, well, forever. Made using a patented metallic alloy called ethergraf, the tip requires no ink, so it can supposedly write indefinitely.
And now, Pininfarina has unveiled a 100 percent recycled edition of the Cambiano. Called the Special Black, the classy writing instrument is made using scrap materials from the production of the regular Cambianos.
