Coasting, "Same Old Same Old"

Coasting, the Brooklyn-based indie-pop duo comprised of Madison Farmer and Fiona Campbell (Vivian Girls), just unveiled this great collage-style video for “Same Old Same Old,” off their underappreciated 2011 LP, You’re Never Going Back. Directed by Alice Cohen, the animated clip is a pastiche of pastel-toned retro images of cars, hairstyles, cityscapes, ladies hanging out, and more. The vintage visuals are a suitable fit for the Coasting sound, which harkens ’50s doo-wop and ’60s garage rock.
