Dudley Perkins, "Flowers"

UK director Samuel Craven appears to have a knack for pulling off well-executed, concept-driven music videos on a shoestring budget. Take for example his video for “Fancy Restaurant” by Gang Colours, or this one, for a loose and mellow track by Stones Throw soulster Dudley Perkins. Craven outfits the song with some dreamy visuals starring a massive bubble floating through a forest, with some shots of a jellyfish thrown in for good measure. It’s divine and delicate, an ideal visual accompaniment for Perkins’ bleary-eyed soul.
