Haerts "Wings"

“Wings,” a soaring tune from New York’s Haerts, gets some beautiful Super 8 visuals from Emily Kai Bock, the talented director behind Grimes’s great “Oblivion” video from 2012. For the “Wings” clip, Kai Bock continues her prolific partnership with director of photography/cinematographer Evan Prosofsky, a fellow Canadian with whom she has worked on several videos. The setting for the video is Nashville, Tennessee, where Kai Bock finds pathos and beauty in everyday scenes of regular folk.

“Wings” is available as a digital single via iTunes. Expect Haerts’ first full-length this fall.
