Subcarpati, "Am crescut pe la Romana"

This video for Romanian musician Subcarpati, an animation of a street sign figure coming to life, shows some major commitment to creativity. According to the film's creators, Ionut Negrila and Mihai Calota, “The story makes more sense if you understand the lyrics." Well, we don't, but that's not keeping us from falling in love with it. The zero-budget production involved 57 stencils, over 5,000 photographs, and, we're guessing, a shit-ton of patience. Check out the "making of" video here.
