The Cyclotrope

The Cyclotrope is a lo-fi animation project from Tim Wheatley, created during his art studies at the University College Falmouth in Cornwall, UK. Borrowing ideas from early motion picture technologies like the Zoetrope, the Cyclotrope is a wheel containing eighteen images spun at a certain speed, creating the illusion of moving pictures. Very cool.
