The Peach Kings "Be Around"

Los Angeles duo Paige Wood and Steven Trezevant, aka The Peach Kings, have shared a new video for their hazy, distorted single “Be Around.” The couple (an actual couple) turned to frequent collaborator Paul Trillo, a Brooklyn director who had already churned out two videos for the band. Trillo knocked it out of the park with this beautiful piece of film inspired by double exposed photos. Featuring overlays of landscapes and scenery atop the figures of Wood and Trezevant, the video uses the double exposure technique to marvelous effect.

From Trillo’s statement:

“It’s… a sort of extension of my previous work that plays with negative and positive space. The double exposure technique I think works well with the themes in the song since it’s about saying one thing and doing something else. The more truthful thoughts are usually held within and we have trouble letting them out.”

Great concept, executed perfectly. Watch above.
