Travis "Moving"

British directing duo Wriggles and Robins (Tom Wrigglesworth and Matt Robinson) appear to have invented a new animation technique on display in this, their first music video. The clip for “Moving,” a taster from Travis’s forthcoming album, builds upon an idea first showcased in Tom and Matt’s  Love is in the Air film, released on Valentine’s Day this year. As with that short film, the “Moving” video features animation created by back projecting images onto the bandmembers’ frozen breath. “Everything was shot in camera with no post production involved, the temperature was simply cold enough that you could see the guys’ breath which we back projected the animations into,” say the pair.

“Moving” appears on Travis’s Where You Stand LP, due in August.
