Johnny Kelly: Shape

“Shape,” the latest effort from After Effects wiz Johnny Kelly, is a tale of progress, technology and the changing shape of the world around us. The film was commissioned by Pivot Dublin for makeshapechange, a project created to “get young people thinking about how the world is made around them, and where design fits in.” Scott Burnett of multidisciplinary Dublin-based studio Aad wrote the script, which Kelly brings to life in this meticulous animation that follows a path from home to school to work, highlighting the oft unnoticed changes that happen before our very eyes.
