Turning Point: Sabrina Dhowre Elba

With a passionate commitment to lifting up rural people in Africa, model, activist, social entrepreneur, and UN Goodwill Ambassador, Sabrina Elba shares her journey and the partnerships she’s forged, including the one with her husband, Idris Elba. Sabrina and Idris started with a mission to Sierra Leone that led to solo missions by Sabrina to other African nations working on a sustainable model teaching rural communities how to better their lives. The partnerships between the couple and other organization as well as partnerships through their foundation, Elba Hope, illustrate the critical role that partnerships play in all of the SDGs.
